SPAR Recognised as a Top Contributor to Youth Employment by President
The SPAR Group was recognised as a Top Contributor at the Youth Employment Service (YES) South Africa ESG Awards on 15th October 2025 and was presented with a certificate signed by President Cyril Ramaphosa.
YES is South Africa’s largest private-sector led 12-month full-time jobs programme. Its aim is to drive change through quality job creation, benefits for business and a multiplier effect that creates a more resilient South African economy.
This recognition reflects SPAR's ongoing commitment to being a purposeful business that serves as a catalyst for change by empowering young leaders to drive the nation forward and create meaningful work opportunities for South Africa’s youth.
At SPAR, we believe in the power of business to do good by building stronger, more sustainable communities and driving progress that benefits everyone. A heartfelt thank you to our dedicated teams, partners, and the YES initiative for helping us make a lasting impact where it matters most.
