Valentines Cheesy Biscuits Recipe

Cute, heart shaped savoury biscuits flavoured with mustard and mozzarella. These are great to serve at a Valentines themed party or as the perfect end to a romantic Valentines meal.

Recipe Ingredients

  • 250 ml SPAR cake flour
  • 125 g SPAR butter, at room temperature
  • 5 ml French or wholegrain mustard
  • 250 ml SPAR grated mozzarella cheese
  • 25 ml SPAR low fat chive cottage cheese
  • 50 g SPAR walnuts, finely chopped


Recipe Method

  1. Measure all the ingredients into a food processor (except walnuts). Mix until a ball of dough forms.
  2. Wrap the dough in cling-film, and chill for 1 hour.
  3. Preheat oven to 180 ºC.
  4. Roll out the dough very thinly onto a floured surface. Cut out shapes with a cookie or scone cutter.
  5. Transfer to the prepared baking tin, gently press chopped walnuts onto each, and bake for 15 minutes until golden.
  6. Leave to cool slightly, then transfer onto a cooling rack.
  7. Pack when completely cool.
