Mussel Dip Recipe
Prepare a bowl of this delicious dip and pack it in the cooler box along with some ready-made extras from SPAR for a perfect and hassle free picnic.
Recipe Ingredients
- 85g can SPAR smoked mussels or oysters
- ½ fresh lemon, squeezed
- 125ml sour cream
- 15ml sundried tomato and red pepper pesto
- 1ml salt or less to taste
- optional: Tabasco sauce
Recipe Method
- Using a hand-held stick blender, puree the mussels, lemon juice and pesto together.
- Using a spoon, gently combine this paste and the sour cream.
- Check for seasoning and spoon into a suitable airtight plastic container.
