Smoked Mackerel Paté Recipe

Recipe Ingredients

  • 200g smoked mackerel fillets
  • 100g SPAR medium fat, plain cream cheese
  • 30g SPAR butter, soft
  • 2 tablespoon SPAR mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon horseradish
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon lemon zest
  • 1 teaspoon SPAR Freshline parsley, chopped
  • 1 pack SPAR Bakery Stackers

Recipe Method

  1. Take the skins off the mackerel and break the fish into a bowl.
  2. Add the cream cheese, butter, parsley, mayo, horseradish, lemon juice, lemon zest, salt, and pepper to taste.
  3. Mix well and set aside.
  4. Place onto a toaster stacker cut into fingers.
  5. Garnish with baby tomatoes and fresh herbs.
