Moroccan Chicken Tray Bake Recipe
Tender chicken pieces roasted with Moroccan spices butternut, lemon and olives.
Recipe Ingredients
- 8 SPAR Chicken Pieces
- 3 Tbsp Moroccan spice
- 3 Tbsp SPAR Olive Oil
- 1 medium butternut, peeled and cut into chunks
- 1 red onion, peeled and cut into petals
- 1 lemon, sliced
- 1 sachet SPAR Green Olives
Recipe Method
- Preheat the oven to 180 ºC.
- Toss the chicken pieces in the Moroccan spice and 2 Tbsp olive oil.
- Place the butternut, onion and lemon slices on a roasting tray and toss with the remaining olive oil.
- Place the chicken pieces on top.
- Roast for 30 minutes, then lay the olives on top and roast for another 10 minutes.
- Serve with a side of couscous or rice, and fresh herbs like origanum or parsley
