A deliciously wholegrain, almost chewy textured cake, that is a great alternative to traditional tea-time bakes.

1. Pre-heat oven 180ºC. Grease a SPAR Good Living 23 cm diameter loose-bottomed cake tin. 2. Combine the oats, bran cereal, salt, baking powder and flour in a mixing bowl. 3. Add the remaining ingredients and blend to combine well. 4. Spoon into the prepared cake tin and bake for 45 minutes.
This would even be suitable for a brunch tart as something different, perhaps preceded by a savoury egg dish.
