Creamy Corn Chicken

Ingredients

  • 2 SPAR Freshline leeks, thinly sliced into rings
  • 100g SPAR Lean Bacon, roughly chopped (1/2 pack)
  • 3 large chicken breast fillets (+- 600 g), cut into medium strips or cubes
  • 2 ml dried chilli flakes
  • 1 tub  SPAR Freshline Ready to Heat,  Corn Chowder  (500 g)
  • 25 ml SPAR Sweet Mustard Sauce

Method

  1. In a non-stick frying pan, fry the leeks, bacon and chicken strips until lightly browned.
  2. Cover and simmer on medium heat until cooked. The juices within will be sufficient to keep this moist.
  3. Stir the chilli and mustard into the soup and pour this into the pan, combining all the ingredients. Heat through and serve immediately.

Hints & Tips

Leeks may be substituted with sliced half-rings of onion, but the flavour will be different.
