Sriracha Pork and Garlic Stir Fry Recipe

Pork fillet is a lean and f;avourful meat that works well in this spicy stir fry.

Recipe Ingredients

  • 450g pork fillet, sliced super fine
  • 1 Tbsp (15ml) SPAR vegetable oil
  • 2 cloves SPAR Freshline garlic, minced
  • 1 SPAR Freshline onion, sliced
  • ¼ cup (60ml) SPAR soy sauce
  • 2 Tbsp (30ml) SPAR brown sugar
  • 2 Tbsp (30ml) SPAR Sriracha
  • 1 SPAR Freshline Red pepper sliced into strips
  • 1 packet (400g) SPAR Freshline green beans, cut into 5/6cm pieces
  • ½ cup (125ml) freshly chopped SPAR Freshline coriander
  • 1 tsp Sesame seeds
  • ½ packet (227g) cooked egg noodles for serving

Recipe Method

  1. In a large pan over medium-high heat, brown pork, breaking up with a wooden spoon. Transfer to a plate and set aside.
  2. Return pan to medium heat and warm oil.
  3. Sauté garlic and onion until softened, about 4 mins, then increase heat to medium-high and stir fry the red pepper for 2 to 3 min.
  4. In a small bowl, combine soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame seeds and Sriracha then add to the pan with green beans and pork. Sauté until green beans are bright green and meat is warmed through.
  5. Top with coriander and serve immediately.
