Marinated Mushrooms Recipe
White button mushrooms and portabellini mushrooms combined with fresh herbs, garlic and a classic vinaigrette.
Recipe Ingredients
- 1 x 400g SPAR Freshline packet white button mushrooms, whole
- 2 x 250g packet SPAR Freshline portabellini mushrooms, halved
- 1/4 cup SPAR Extra Virgin olive oil
- 1/4 cup SPAR vinegar
- 2 tablespoons SPAR Freshline parsley, chopped
- 1 teaspoon SPAR sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon chilli pepper flakes
- 1/4 teaspoon SPAR Freshline thyme
- 1 clove SPAR Freshline garlic, minced
- Pinch pepper
Recipe Method
- Wipe mushrooms clean with paper towel. Set aside.
- In a large frying pan over a medium heat, fry the mushrooms in 2 tablespoon of the oil and a pinch of salt for + -7 minutes.
- Set aside to cool for 5 minutes.
- In a small bowl combine the marinade ingredients: oil, vinegar, parsley, sugar, oregano, salt, chilli, thyme, garlic and pepper.
- Place the mushrooms in the marinade and set aside for 10 minutes.
