• Print out our Space Invitations and other themed Party Printables and Bunting.

• Use a dark table cloth or a black chalk board painted table top to arrange the party treats and cake on. You can use table confetti stars or write on the table top using white chalk.

• We made “planets” using cupcake cases folded in half and glued together. It’s so easy! Flatten out about 12 cup cake cases per planet.  Fold in half so the colourful side is in the middle.  Using glue, stick the semi circles together (non-colourful half to non-colourful half). Open and stick remaining 2 halves to form a circle.

• Lots of large balloons can instantly create a festive party atmosphere.

Take It Home

Great ideas for take home treats:

• SPAR Squillos Cheese Flavoured Naks strip packs and any sweets in the shape of stars moons or balls (planets).
• Instead of a party pack, you could give each child a small bag of marbles or bouncy balls (planets) to take home. They also love stickers especially if you can get some with a space theme.

Food and Drink

• Use SPAR bottled water (still or flavoured) to make "Rocket Fuel". Cover the labels with wrapping paper. Cut wings out of red or blue card and stick onto the bottles with glue. Or use the themed Party Printables.
