Easy Lasagne

Easy Lasagne
A super simple lasagne that will make you look like a master chef!
Easy Lasagne

  • 1 SPAR Freshline Onion, finely chopped
  • 500g SPAR Beef Mince
  • 1 SPAR Freshline Carrot, grated
  • 30 ml SPAR Freshline Parsley, chopped
  • 1 can (410g) SPAR Diced Tomatoes
  • 250 ml Water
  • 1 SPAR Beef Stock Cube
  • 6 SPAR Lasagne Sheets
  • 1 SPAR Egg, beaten
  • 250 ml SPAR Double Cream Plain Yoghurt
  • 250 ml SPAR Grated Cheddar Cheese


  1. In a large saucepan, fry the onion until soft, then add mince & grated carrot and cook until the mince is browned.
  2. Add the parsley and diced tomatoes, water and stock cube. Bring to the boil and then reduce heat and simmer covered for 10 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  3. Mix the egg with the yoghurt and keep aside.
  4. Place 1/3rd of the meat into a 20 x 20 cm baking dish. Layer 2 sheets of lasagne on top.  Do not overlap. Sprinkle with a little cheese.  Top with another 1/3rd of the mince, lasagne and cheese. Lastly layer the remaining mince and the last two lasagne sheets on top. 
  5. Pour the yoghurt egg mixture over the mince and lasagne sheets and sprinkle with remaining cheese.  Leave to stand for 30 minutes.
  6. Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
  7. Bake for 30 – 35 minutes until golden.  Serve warm with a salad.
  • You can add a grated baby marrow and even some sliced mushrooms to this lasagne.
