Angel Clouds
Sweet and fun to make and eat!
Angel Clouds

  • Makes 10

Ingredients

  • 4 egg whites
  • 1 tsp vinegar
  • 1 tsp cornflour
  • 225g castor sugar
  • 10 pink marshmallows

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 150˚C. Beat the egg whites in a mixing bowl for 5 minutes, adding the vinegar and cornflour as you go.
  2. Keep beating and slowly add the sugar, 1 tablespoon at a time. Beat until it is stiff.
  3. Place 20 spoonfuls onto a baking sheet lined with baking paper.
  4. Bake for 1 hour, switch off the oven and allow the meringues to cool in the oven.
  5. Melt the marshmallows in the microwave for a few seconds until they are just soft, then sandwich the meringues with the melted marshmallows.
