Fast Food – Healthier snacking
Remember good health is the fruition of a number of things, but the simplest are exercise, de-stressing and healthy eating!
When it comes to food-on-the-go, remember that ‘fast-fruit’ is the best fast food you can get! Easy-to-eat are apples, bananas, nectarines, seedless grapes and naartjies.
Fruit is a filling and tasty snack which provides energy, fibre and vital vitamins!
Popcorn is another great fibre-rich food, which is great as a snack (just go easy on the salt)
If you feel like a treat, go for something that will provide some benefit, like dark chocolate. It contains more cocoa flavonoids than other chocolate which provides a powerful antioxidant effect. It also provides much eating pleasure, which we can only say is Good For You! (in moderation!)

Hints and Tips

Why not prepare your fast-fruit the night before? Slice up a punnet of strawberries, a punnet of seedless grapes, 2 bananas, a can of peaches, add a little orange juice and just sprinkle of brown sugar. Put the Tupperware in the fridge and grab on your way out the house in the morning.
