Ingredients
(Makes 1 loaf)
- 500g SPAR Wheat Cake Flour
- 10 ml SPAR Salt
- 20 ml SPAR Sugar
- 10g instant yeast
- 340 ml lukewarm water
- 125 ml SPAR Butter, melted
- 30 ml dried parsley
- 60 ml grated Parmesan cheese
Method
Combine flour, salt, sugar and yeast. Gradually add the liquid and mix into a soft pliable dough.
Knead for 10 minutes until smooth.
Divide dough into small pieces.
Combine melted butter, herbs and parmesan cheese. Dip the pices of dough in the melted butter and then place in a greased loaf tin.
Allow to prove until double in size and then bake at 210℃ for 30 - 40 minutes.
Hints & Tips
You can buy raw dough from your SPAR Bakery if you are short of time but still want to be able to bake it yourself so that it tastes truly homemade.
You can add crushed garlic to the butter.
