You will need:
	- 
		6 Egg yolks
- 
		125g Sugar
- 
		600ml milk
- 
		Vanilla pod, split
	Step 1:
	Whisk the egg yolks until thick, gradually add half the sugar while whisking.
	Step 2:
	Scald the milk with the remaining sugar and the vanilla pod.
	Step 3:
	In a glass bowl over a pot of simmering water slowly stsir the hot milk mixture into the yolks, do not use a whisk. Cook at a low heat, stirring continuously until the custard is thick enough to coat the back of a wooden spoon.
