Whipped Coconut Butter


MAKES: 2   PREP TIME: 10 MINS

YOU WILL NEED:
1 cup coconut oil
(not melted)
1 tsp vitamin E oil (optional)
a few drops of your favorite essential oils for fragrance

METHOD:
Put all ingredients into a mixing bowl. Note: Do not melt the coconut oil, as it will only whip if it is solid.
Mix on high speed for 6-7 minutes or until whipped into a light, airy consistency.
Spoon the whipped coconut oil body butter into a glass jar and cover tightly. Store at room temperature, or in the refrigerator if your house is warm.

Red Velvet Fizzy Bath Bombs


MAKES: 2   PREP TIME: 10 MINS

YOU WILL NEED:
FOR CUPCAKE BASE:
1/2 cup citric soda
1 cup bicarbonate of soda
3/4 cup cornstarch
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp coconut oil (melted), vitamin E oil or avocado oil
6 drops red food colouring
15 drops chocolate or essential oil of choice
spray bottle filled with water

FOR FIZZY BATH SALTS:
1 cup of Epsom salt
1 cup of sea salt
1 cup of baking soda (sifted)
1/2 cup of citric acid
1 tbsp coconut oil, melted
10 drops of essential oil of your choice

METHOD:
CUPCAKE BASE:
Stir together citric soda, baking soda, cornstarch, sugar and oil of choice.
Add food coloring and essential oil. Spritz mixture lightly with water (it should become damp but not fizzy) until you can pack mixture with your hands.
Using a spoon or your hands, mix ingredients until colour is even throughout (mixture will begin to dry out; when this happens, spritz until packable again.
Spoon into a silicone cupcake mould, pressing firmly, alternatively, press into paper-lined cupcake moulds. Leave overnight.
Remove and place into a glass jar(s) or into cellophane bags.

BATH SALTS:
Mix Epsom salt, sea salt , baking soda and citric acid together.
Add the coconut oil and mix.
Spritz with water until a crumbly mix begins to from.
Store in a glass jar along with the cupcake fizz bombs.

Lavender and Vanilla Bath Oil


MAKES: 250ML, 1 CUP   PREP TIME: 5 MINS

YOU WILL NEED:
1 cup vitamin E oil,
almond oil or avocado oil
10 drops lavender
essential oil
3 sprigs fresh lavender (optional)
1 vanilla pod

METHOD:
In a glass bottle add oil of your choice, then lavender essential oil followed by lavender sprigs and the vanilla pod.
To use: Either add a few drops to your bath, or rub onto skin after your bath and allow to soak in before putting on clothes. It’s great to use as a massage oil too.
To store: It will last up to a year. Store in a cupboard so as not to cause sun damage.

Candy Cane Fizzy Peppermint Bath Bombs


MAKES: 16 small or 8 large balls   PREP TIME: 10 MINS

YOU WILL NEED:
1/2 cup citric soda
1 cup bicarbonate
of soda
3/4 cup cornstarch
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp coconut oil, vitamin E oil or avocado oil
6 drops green food colouring
15 drops peppermint essential oil
spray bottle filled with water

METHOD:
Stir together citric soda, baking soda, cornstarch, sugar and oil of choice
Add food coloring, and essential oil. Spritz mixture lightly with water (it should become damp but not fizzy) until you can pack mixture with your hands.
Using a  spoon or your hands, mix ingredients until colour is even throughout (mixture will begin to dry out; when this happens, spritz with water until packable again
Spoon into a silicone cake mould, pressing firmly.  Spritz both moulds lightly with water; and sandwich together. Let dry overnight.
Pop out of moulds and place into desired packaging, such as a glass jar.
You can use any mould, but silicone works best as it is pliable

Sugar, Ginger and Marmalade Body Scrub


MAKES: 2   PREP TIME: 10 MINS

YOU WILL NEED:
1 cup brown sugar
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp ground ginger
10 drops orange essential oil
½ cup grapeseed oil, or olive oil

METHOD:
In a bowl combine sugar, cinnamon, ginger and the orange essential oil.
2. Slowly add in your oil and break up any clumps that may form.
Spoon into a small jar with a sealable lid.
Will last up to six months in a sealed container.
