Nutty Fruit Nests

If you’re nuts about desserts, this next ones for you, for sure. Freshline’s ready-made meringue nests allow you to whip up this mouthwatering masterpiece in no time. Just add dried fruit and nuts and voila!

Ingredients

12-pack SPAR Freshline meringues nests
SPAR honey
Your favourite nuts
SPAR cranberries

Method

Squeeze a little honey into each meringue nest.
Fill each nest with a mixture of chopped nuts and cranberries.
Enjoy as a treat, or as a dessert with a scoop of SPAR Honey Greek Yoghurt or SPAR Vanilla flavoured ice cream.

Meringues are a smart low-fat treat, but still relatively high in sugar, so watch how many you eat! However if you’re in a decadent mood, why not place a scoop of creamy ice-cream on top. If you choose large nuts such as brazil or almonds, chop them before using.
