Nothing says South Africa more than Biltong! Learn how to make South Africa's favourite snack at home.
We take you through the incredibly easy and gratifying process of making your own biltong. There are a number of spice variations and recipes to use, not to mention a number of meats you can dry as well as fish. The ultimate South African money-saving cooking skill.

What you'll need

  • 1kg silverside beef
  • 150 ml red wine vinegar
  • 1/2 cup ground coriander
  • 2 tbsp ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp sea salt, roughly (be more generous than you think you need to be)
  • 2 tsp paprika
