1. The competition opens on Tuesday, 22 August 2023 and closes on Sunday, 24 September 2023.
2. Buy any of the participating Polony Competition products from any SPAR store and WhatsApp a picture of your till slip to +27 74 478 4633 for automatic entries into the competition. Qualifying products are depicted on in-store advertising material.
3. Each participating product, purchased with an accompanying till slip, is a single entry into the competition. Buying multiple participating products on unique till slips will give you multiple entries.
4. You may enter this competition as many times as you like.
5. By entering the SPAR Polony you are accepting all the rules of this competition.
6. There will be six (6) draws during the competition, whereby SPAR Head Office will draw the winners by means of a random electronic draw.
7. The winners of the six Polo Vivo cars will each be drawn from all the WhatsApp Bot mechanic who uploaded a picture of their till slip AND purchased a SPAR Polony participating product.
8. In the event of a winner being disqualified in terms of these rules, a replacement winner will be drawn.
9. There is a R100 000 in cash to be won, where 50 winners will each win R2 000 in cash. Winners of the R2 000 can draw their cash prize from an ABSA ATM. Cash prize winners do not need an ABSA banking account. Winners will receive an SMS on how to draw their cash prize with the relevant pin codes.
10. The competition is open to all citizens of South Africa only who are 18 years of age or over, except for the members, shareholders, directors, employees, partners, agents, and consultants (And their respective life partners, business partners and immediate families) of:
11. The SPAR Group Ltd, the SPAR Guild of Southern Africa NPC and the Build it Guild of Southern
Africa NPC; and
12. The suppliers and advertising agencies of the SPAR Group Ltd, the SPAR Guild of Southern Africa
NPC and the Build it Guild of Southern Africa NPC
13. All winners will be contacted telephonically once the relevant draws have been audited and confirmed.
14. Prizes may not be transferred or exchanged for cash or for any other goods or services.
15. All winners will collect their cars from the SPAR store at which they were drawn as winners during that store’s trading hours. Any prizes not claimed and collected within 30 days of the prearranged store handover date may be forfeited at SPAR’s discretion.
16. Car winners must allow SPAR a reasonable period to arrange for the car to be registered, licensed in their respective names and delivered. They must provide SPAR with all information. and original documentation required for this purpose, including an identity document, together with a driver’s license, valid in the respective country of the winner or his or her nominated driver and a valid proof of residence.
17. The names of the car winners will be published on the SPAR website (www.spar.co.za) and on social media once the winners have been validated and verified. The winners’ names will also be featured in national press advertisements after the competition has ended. By accepting the prize, the winners of the SPAR Polony competition agree that SPAR may use their names and pictures for any future marketing material by the SPAR Group in print and digital media.
18. The decisions of SPAR and its judges are final and may not be challenged. No correspondence will be entertained.
19. Vehicle visuals may show specifications and options not available in South Africa.
