Our SPAR Select Prime Steak Portions are made from ostrich meat which is naturally low in fat and rich in protein, which contributes to towards a healhier lifestyle without compromising on taste.

COOKING INSTRUCTIONS

Ostrich Steak should be grilled or braaied quickly to seal in natural juices. Brush Ostrich Steaks with a little olive oil. Grill in smoking hot griddle pan or braai over moderately hot coals. Once steak is sealed, sprinkle with low salt seasoning. Use tongs to turn meat twice on each side until cooked as preferred. Baste again with a little olive oil. Do not overcook as meat will become dry. Remove from heat, cover and leave to rest for 3 – 4 minutes before serving.
