Recipe Ingredients

Green Smoothie:

  • 125ml SPAR Coconut Milk
  • 500ml SPAR Freshline Kale or Spinach, chopped
  • 250ml SPAR Freshline Pineapple, chopped
  • 1 SPAR Freshline Banana, chopped
  • 3-5ml freshly grated Ginger
 
Banana Ginger Smoothie:
  • 2 SPAR Freshline Bananas, sliced
  • 250ml SPAR Plain Yoghurt
  • 15ml SPAR Honey (adjust to taste)
  • 3ml freshly grated Ginger
 
Berry Oat Smoothie:
  • 200g Frozen Berries
  • 175ml SPAR Plain Yoghurt
  • 30ml SPAR Honey (adjust to taste)
  • 3-5ml freshly grated Ginger
  • 25g SPAR Quick Cooking Oats

Recipe Method

  1. Place all the ingredients (except for the oats in the Berry Oat Smoothie) into a blender.
  2. Blend until smooth, about 1 minute. Adjust the consistency with a little water if needed.
  3. For the Berry Oat Smoothie, stir in the oats after blending, saving a few for a crunchy topping.
 

Hints & Tips

For an icy smoothie experience, peel and freeze the banana the day before. Simply cut it into chunks and blend with the rest of your ingredients.
