  • ½ cup SPAR castor sugar
  • ½ cup SPAR milk
  • ¼ cup SPAR sunflower oil
  • 1 SPAR egg, large
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1 cup SPAR Freshline blueberries

Recipe Method

  1. Preheat Oven: Preheat your oven to 200°C. Line a 12-cup muffin tin with muffin liners or grease the cups with non-stick spray.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix the self-raising flour and castor sugar.
  3. Mix Wet Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together the milk, oil, egg, and vanilla essence.
  4. Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients: Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and gently mix until just combined. Do not overmix.
  5. Add Blueberries: Gently fold in the blueberries.
  6. Fill Muffin Cups: Divide the batter evenly among the 12 muffin cups, filling each about 2/3 full.
  7. Bake: Bake in the preheated oven for 20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the centre of a muffin comes out clean.
