Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 cup softened butter
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ cup light brown sugar
  • 2 cups softened vanilla ice cream
  • 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • ½ cup boiling water
  • 1-3 tablespoons rum

Recipe Method

  1. In a large bowl, cream together your softened butter, powdered sugar, and light brown sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.
  2. Slowly beat in the softened ice cream, nutmeg, and cinnamon until well-incorporated.
  3. Cover the mixture and chill in the freezer until ready to serve.
  4. When serving, place ½ cup of the butter mixture in a mug, add boiling water, and stir until dissolved.
  5. Add rum to taste.
