Recipe Method

  1. Prepare Batter:
    • In a mixing bowl, whisk the eggs with sugar until the mixture becomes pale yellow and slightly thick. You can use an electric beater for this step.
    • Stir in the lemon or orange zest, if using.
  2. Combine Dry Ingredients:
    • In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Mix Wet and Dry Ingredients:
