Physical Abuse

Physical abuse is a form of Gender Based Violence and an act of causing injury or harm to another person. It can happen to anyone - women, men or children and is never acceptable.

Sexual Abuse

Sexual abuse is a form of Gender Based Violence. Your body is your property, and nobody is allowed to make you do anything you are uncomfortable with. If you do not say yes willingly, then it's not legal.

Psychological Abuse

Psychological abuse is a form of Gender Based Violence. Not all abuse ends in cuts and bruises - insults, threats and shaming can scar an individual for years, resulting in anxiety and depression.

Financial/Economic Abuse

Financial Abuse is a form of violence that is much harder to identify than others. No one can stop you from spending money you've earned or selling assets you own. No one can stop you from working either! Taking control of finances and transactions without your permission or through intimidation, threat and force is a form of financial abuse. Any use or exploitation of your finances and assets against your will is illegal!
