Stuffed Croissants Recipe

Croissants stuffed with berries, chocolate and honey roasted pears.

Recipe Ingredients

  • 2 medium firm SPAR Freshline pears, cut into wedges
  • 2 sprigs SPAR Freshline thyme
  • ¼ cup SPAR honey, heated
  • 4 SPAR Freshline Butter Croissants, cooked according to packet instructions
  • 1 cup SPAR Freshline berries
  • 4 tablespoons chocolate sauce

Recipe Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180ºC.
  2. Line a baking sheet with baking paper.
  3. Place the pears onto the paper and brush with honey.
  4. Add the thyme and toss.
  5. Place into the oven and roast for 15 – 20 minutes or until softened. Set aside.
  6. To assemble: cut the croissants in half.
  7. Stuff with the roasted pears (divide between 4) & berries (divide between 4).
  8. Drizzle with chocolate sauce and serve.

Hints & Tips

Add cream to make it more decadent.
