Spicy Salsa Dip and Garlic Bread Chips Recipe

A fresh flavoured salsa with crispy garlic bread slices.

Recipe Ingredients

Spicy Salsa Dip

  • 400g ripe SPAR Freshline tomatoes, finely chopped
  • 1 SPAR Freshline onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove SPAR Freshline garlic, minced
  • ¼ cup SPAR Freshline coriander, chopped
  • 1 SPAR Freshline red chilli, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoon lime juice
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper


Toasted garlic bread chips

  • 1 Freshline garlic bread (any flavour)

Recipe Method

  1. In a large bowl mix together the tomatoes, onion, garlic, coriander and chilli.
  2. Add the lime juice, salt & pepper. Mix well.
  3. Place in the fridge for 15 minutes to enhance the flavours.
  4. Pre-heat the oven to 180° c.
  5. Take the tin foil off the garlic bread and slice each pre-marked slice into 2.
  6. Make sure there is enough garlic butter on all slices
  7. Place on a baking tray and bake in the oven for +- 10 minutes until crispy and golden brown.
  8. Take out and let cool before serving with the spicy salsa dip
