Spicy Salsa Dip and Garlic Bread Chips Recipe
A fresh flavoured salsa with crispy garlic bread slices.
Recipe Ingredients
Spicy Salsa Dip
- 400g ripe SPAR Freshline tomatoes, finely chopped
- 1 SPAR Freshline onion, finely chopped
- 1 clove SPAR Freshline garlic, minced
- ¼ cup SPAR Freshline coriander, chopped
- 1 SPAR Freshline red chilli, finely chopped
- 2 tablespoon lime juice
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon pepper
Toasted garlic bread chips
- 1 Freshline garlic bread (any flavour)
Recipe Method
- In a large bowl mix together the tomatoes, onion, garlic, coriander and chilli.
- Add the lime juice, salt & pepper. Mix well.
- Place in the fridge for 15 minutes to enhance the flavours.
- Pre-heat the oven to 180° c.
- Take the tin foil off the garlic bread and slice each pre-marked slice into 2.
- Make sure there is enough garlic butter on all slices
- Place on a baking tray and bake in the oven for +- 10 minutes until crispy and golden brown.
- Take out and let cool before serving with the spicy salsa dip
