Shop at your participating KZN SPAR store and pop your SPAR till slip into your favourite school's pledge box during the competition period to enter the competition.

Terms & Conditions

1. Promoters
The promoters of this competition are:
o SUPERSPAR Kensington
o SUPERSPAR Umhlanga
o SUPERSPAR Eastmans
o SPAR Riverside
o KWIKSPAR Ridge
o KWIKSPAR Glenore
The competition is open to customers shopping at these participating SPAR stores.
2. Competition Period
The competition will run from 1 April 2026 to 31 October 2026. Entries received outside of this period will not be considered. Draws will take place each month from the end of May 2026, until the end of October 2026 (6 draws).
3. Eligibility
o The competition is open to all customers shopping at the participating SPAR stores during the competition period.
o By entering the competition, participants agree to abide by these Terms & Conditions.
4. How to Participate
Customers may participate as follows:
1. Shop at any participating SPAR store during the competition period.
2. Place their original SPAR till slip into the pledge box allocated to their favourite participating local school in-store.
3. Each valid till slip counts as one (1) entry and one (1) pledge toward the selected school. Customers may submit multiple till slips, provided each slip represents a separate transaction.
5. Winner Determination
o All valid till slips will be counted during the competition period.
o Each month from May 2026, until October 2026, one of the participating stores will count the valid till slips in their pledge boxes, identify the 3 schools with the most slips, ranking from frst to third place.
o The store will contact the winning schools and arrange the prize giveaways.
o Counting and verifcation of entries will be conducted by store management or an appointed representative.
6. Prize Structure
o A total prize value of R60 000 is available in the competition.
o Each participating SPAR store will award R10 000 to schools within its community.
o The R10 000 per store will be shared among the top three (3) schools with the most pledged till slips at that store.
o The exact allocation between the three winning schools may be determined by the participating store.
7. Winner Announcement
o Winning schools will be announced after the counting and verifcation process at each participating store.
o Schools may be notifed directly by the store and may also be announced through in-store communication and/or social media platforms.
8. Prize Conditions
o Prizes will be awarded to the schools and not to individual participants.
o Prize funds are intended to support school initiatives and development within the local community.
o Prizes are not transferable or redeemable for cash by individuals.
9. General Conditions
• Only original till slips from participating SPAR stores will be accepted as valid entries.
• Photocopies, duplicates, or altered till slips will be disqualifed.• The Promoters reserves the right to verify all entries and disqualify any entries suspected of fraud or manipulation.
• The Promoter’s decision regarding winners is fnal and no correspondence will be entered into.
10. Limitation of Liability
The Promoter shall not be responsible for any lost, damaged, illegible, or misplaced entries placed into pledge boxes.
11. Right of Promotion
By participating in the competition, schools agree that the Promoter may use the school’s name, photographs, and related content for promotional and publicity purposes without additional compensation.
12. Amendments
The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend, or terminate the competition and these Terms & Conditions at any time if required by circumstances beyond its control.
