Recipe for Turkey Sandwich Deluxe

This sandwich is super for using up leftovers. You can use this as a guide and be creative! The combination of turkey with the cheese and the sweetness of the fruit and cranberry sauce is a winner.


  • SPAR butter or margarine for spreading
  • 1 SPAR Freshline seeded roll
  • 2 or 3 leaves of SPAR Freshline lettuce / rocket / coriander
  • Thinly sliced leftover turkey and stuffing
  • Thin slices of cheese of your choice (SPAR Marksbury Camembert or Blue cheese)
  • Thinly sliced SPAR Freshline mango or SPAR Freshline raspberries
  • Cranberry Sauce


  1. Butter the roll with butter or margarine.
  2. Break lettuce into large pieces; layer half on one half of the roll.
  3. Top with turkey, cheese, mango, raspberries and cranberry sauce.
  4. Add the remaining lettuce and the other half of the roll.
  5. Slice in half and serve.

Hints and Tips

Freeze left over wine in ice cube trays and use in a sauce or casserole at a later stage.
