Parmesan Carrots Recipe

Buttery, garlic and herb carrots baked with parmesan and sprinkled with fresh parsley.

Recipe Ingredients

  • 900g SPAR Freshline carrots, washed and cut longways
  • 4 tablespoons SPAR butter, melted
  • 1 clove SPAR Freshline garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon oregano
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon pepper
  • 1/3 cup SPAR Marksbury Select Parmigiano Reggiano cheese (or parmesan), grated
  • 1/4 cup SPAR Freshline parsley, chopped

Recipe Method

  1. Preheat oven to 180C.
  2. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Set aside.
  3. Place the carrots in a large mixing bowl and add butter, garlic, oregano, salt & pepper. Toss well.
  4. Add the grated parmesan cheese and mix until combined.
  5. Transfer carrots to the baking tray and bake in the oven for 20 to 25 minutes, or until tender.
  6. Remove from oven and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
