A butternut, cheese and sweet chilli filling in a healthy brown wrap is a perfect, healthy lunch for hungry tummies.

Recipe Ingredients

  • 2 SPAR brown wraps
  • SPAR Olive oil
  • 1 pouch SPAR Freshline Veg for Two butternut  (200g)
  • ½ round SPAR feta cheese with black pepper
  • 30ml SPAR grated cheddar or mozzarella cheese (15g)
  •  10ml   SPAR Sweet Chilli Sauce

Recipe Method

  1. Microwave the pricked-pouch of butternut for 6 minutes on 100% Power. In this time, pre-heat a flat-bed sandwich toaster (not a snack-wich toaster)
  2. Tip the butternut into a bowl and mash together with the chilli sauce and both the cheeses.  Spread this filling evenly onto one wrap and press the second wrap down firmly on top as if making a sandwich.
  3. Brush olive oil over, and toast in the pre-heated sandwich toaster. Toast until crisp and bubbling. Cut into 4 triangles to eat.

Hints & Tips

  • If you don’t have a suitable sandwich toaster, bake in a pre-heated 200 °C oven for 8-10 minutes with the oven-shelf set one above centre position.
  • The sauce and feta provide sufficient salt for the filling, so don’t add more salt unnecessarily.
