Lemonade Scones

So simple yet light and delicious. A great way to treat that special person in your life.

Ingredients

  • 500g SPAR self-raising wheat flour
  • 340 ml SPAR lemonade
  • 250 ml SPAR cream

To serve

  • SPAR butter
  • SPAR strawberry jam
  • Extra SPAR cream, whipped

Method

  1. Pre heat the oven to 210°C.
  2. Mix the cream into the flour and then add the lemonade.
  3. Mix well.  Spoon the mixture into 2 x 12 cup muffin tins.
  4. Bake for 10 – 15 minutes until cooked through.
  5. Serve buttered with strawberry jam and whipped cream.

Hints & Tips

Did you know that if you don’t have self-raising flour, you can make your own? Just add 1 ½ teaspoons of baking powder and a pinch of salt to 1 cup of flour.
