Brownie Flatties Recipe

Really easy to make biscuits for an anytime treat. Try two sandwiched together with a spread of vanilla ice cream for a quick summer dessert.

Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 jar Squillos chocolate spread
  • 1 large SPAR egg
  • 250ml SPAR cake flour

Recipe Method

  1. Pre-heat oven to 180 °C with shelf in centre position. Lightly grease 2 large baking tins.
  2. In a mixing bowl or food processor, combine all the ingredients to form a firm paste.
  3. Pinch off and roll golf-ball size balls.
  4. Place them very well-spaced apart, on the prepared tins.  Press down on each one to increase their size and flatten slightly.
  5. Bake for 15 minutes.
  6. Allow the biscuits to cool slightly before transferring to a cooling rack.
  7. Store in an airtight container.

Hints & Tips

Scrape the jar clean with a good spatula to ensure there is no waste, as it all necessary for the success of the recipe.
