A Pork Belly Roast with the Most Recipe

A crisp and crackling pork dish, with roasted fruits and vegetables cooked in the same dish for an easy but delicious meal.

Recipe Ingredients

  • 500g Your Butcher by SPAR Boneless Pork Belly
  • 1 Tbsp sea salt
  • 1 tsp SPAR Freshline sage
  • 1 tsp smoked chilli
  • 1 Tbsp fennel seeds
  • 3 SPAR Freshline apples, cored and quartered
  • 1 SPAR Freshline orange, quartered
  • 400g SPAR Freshline Baby Potatoes in Herb Butter

Recipe Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 200º c
  2. Using a sharp knife, score the skin of the pork belly.
  3. Mix the salt and spices together and rub into the skin.
  4. Cover with foil and place the pork on a baking tray and roast for 15 minutes.
  5. Increase the temperature to 220º c
  6. Remove the foil and roast for a further 20 – 25 minutes or until the skin is crispy and crackly.
  7. For the roasted fruits and vegetables, add the apples, orange and potatoes to the baking tray when you increase the oven temperature.
