Pork Belly Ribs with Lebanese Apple Slaw Recipe
The crisp apple and herb slaw, spiced with za’atar pairs perfectly with the soft pork belly.
Recipe Ingredients
- 1kg SPAR Tender & Tasty Pork Belly Ribs
- 4 SPAR freshline Granny Smith apples, halved and sliced
- ¼ SPAR freshline cabbage, shredded
- Handful SPAR freshline dill, roughly chopped
- Handful SPAR freshline mint, leaves picked
- 1-2 SPAR Freshline spring onions, sliced
- 1 Tbsp (15ml) za’atar spice
Dressing
- Juice of 1 SPAR freshline lemon
- 1 tsp SPAR sugar
- ¼ (60ml) SPAR olive oil
- 3 Tbsp (45ml) SPAR honey
Recipe Method
- For the dressing, whisk together all the ingredients. Season to taste and set aside
- For the slaw, toss together all the ingredients in a large serving bowl.
- Pour over dressing. Set aside.
- Cook the ribs according to package instructions and serve with the slaw.
