South African Mango Cheesecake Recipe
A festive fiesta of everyone’s favourite Christmas desserts. Amarula soaked Malva pudding with crumbled mince pies, all in a cheesecake mix, topped with fresh mango slices!
Recipe Ingredients
- 200g SPAR Ginger Biscuits
- 250g SPAR Butter
- 2 SPAR Bakery Mince Pies, cubed
- 120g SPAR Bakery Malva Pudding, cubed
- ½ cup (125ml) Amarula from TOPS at SPAR (optional)
- 400g SPAR freshline Cheesecake Instant Dessert Mix
- 1 SPAR freshline mango, peeled and sliced
- 200g SPAR Ginger Biscuits
- 250g SPAR Butter
- 2 SPAR Bakery Mince Pies, cubed
- 120g SPAR Bakery Malva Pudding, cubed
- ½ cup (125ml) Amarula from TOPS at SPAR (optional)
- 400g SPAR freshline Cheesecake Instant Dessert Mix
- 1 SPAR freshline mango, peeled and sliced

Recipe Method
- Blitz the biscuits in a food processor to form fine crumbs.
- Add the melted butter and pulse until well combined.
- Scatter into a greased 22 cm loose bottom tin and using a spoon or base of a flat glass press the mixture firmly into the base of the tin.
- Soak the malva in the Amarula if using and arrange, with the mince pies, on top of the biscuit base.
- Prepare the cheesecake filling as per the packaging instructions.
- Pour the filling over the mince pies and refrigerate for 30 minutes
- Top with mango slices and serve.
