Cupcakes of HOPE is an NPO that raises awareness and funds for families, affected by cancer and in need of medical assistance. They do this by encouraging communities to bake and sell cupcakes and have several events throughout the year.

SPAR has been a sponsor since 2015 and helped to set a new Guinness World Record that year for the largest cup cake mosaic.  This year SPAR was involved again, donating baking ingredients to help towards raising much needed funds for brave little cancer warriors.

Cupcakes of Hope holds several events throughout the year. The main event is hosting South Africa’s National Cupcake Day 4 Kids with Cancer in September. This is an entirely community-driven project and an amazing event that brings the whole community together for an awesome cause!

The organisation encourages schools, corporates, clubs or- just about any organisation to get involved by donning their  aprons and baking a batch of cupcakes for sale on 29 September 2018.   Find out how to get involved here.

As September is Childhood Cancer Awareness Month, leaflets are distributed at events with the Early Cancer Warning Signs.
