The enthusiasm was palpable at the recent launch of KWIKSPAR Ottery. The local community was there to see Vinette Ebrahim and Melanie du Bois, Charmaine and Felicity, from the popular soapie, 7de Laan.

Autographs and selfies were the order of the day, and the actresses were more than willing to oblige their fans.
In fact the excitement and sense of community did not only belong to the stars. It seemed to ooze from the store, its owners and staff, as well as the customers who wanted to meet and greet the actresses. 

This is the third store that Riaz Mookrey has opened in SPAR Western Cape. He also owns KWIKSPAR Kromboom and SPAR Groote Schuur. Riaz’s passion for family and his stores extends to the customers and the community they serve. “My stores are all Halaal, catering for a majority of Muslim customers.” 

Riaz’s retail philosophy centres around his customers. “I want to offer everything and more that a customer could want, served in the most awesome environment by the most awesome people.”
