Greek Style Marinade Recipe

A blend of olive oil, garlic, rosemary and lemon which can be used on lamb, chicken or steak.

Recipe Ingredients

  • 2 SPAR freshline lemons
  • ¼ cup of SPAR olive oil
  • 4 cloves of SPAR freshline garlic, crushed
  • 2 sprigs SPAR freshline rosemary
  • Big pinch each of sea salt and ground black pepper
  • Big pinch of dried red chilli flakes (optional)
  • 1 fresh bay leaf, crushed (optional)

Recipe Method

  1. Zest the lemons and squeeze out all the juice into a bowl.
  2. Mix in the oil, garlic, seasoning, herbs and chili flakes.
  3. Arrange your option of meat in a glass or ceramic container and pour the marinade over.
  4. Leave to marinate for up to 2 hours before braaiing over hot coals until done to your liking.
