Crispy Potato Bake Recipe

The ultimate in crispy potato goodness! Cutting the potato slices really thin and stacking them vertically is a potato bake game changer.

Recipe Ingredients

  • 6kg SPAR Freshline potatoes, washed
  • 3 cups cream
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon SPAR Freshline chives
  • 1 tablespoon sea salt flakes

Recipe Method

  1. Preheat oven to 200°C.
  2. Thinly slice the potatoes and place in a large bowl.
  3. Pour in the cream and add salt, pepper and chives.
  4. Toss well to combine.
  5. Working along the short edge of a greased roasting pan, arrange the potato upright from left to right to fill the pan.
  6. Pour the remaining cream over the arranged potatoes and place in the oven for +- 1 hour or until golden brown.
  7. Sprinkle the potatoes with sea salt to serve.
