The Ultimate Chicken Slaw Burger Recipe

Crumbed chicken strips topped with a mustard and honey mayo slaw and served on a fresh bun with onion rings and cheese slices.

Recipe Ingredients

  • 750g SPAR Frozen Crumbed Chicken Strips 
  • 4 SPAR Bakery White Hamburger Rolls
  • SPAR Daily Spread
  • ½ cup (125ml) SPAR Mayonnaise
  • 3 Tbsp (45ml) SPAR Mustard
  • 2 tsp (20ml) SPAR Honey
  • 175g of SPAR freshline coleslaw mix.
  • ¼ SPAR freshline Iceberg lettuce, shredded
  • 1 SPAR freshline red onion, sliced
  • 400g SPAR Cheddar Full Fat Processed Cheese Slices

Recipe Method

  1. Bake the chicken in 180º oven for 15 minutes.
  2. Slice the rolls and toast
  3. Spread with SPAR Daily Spread
  4. Mix the mayo, mustard and honey together and toss through the slaw and lettuce.
  5. Pile onto the toasted rolls and top with the crispy chicken, onions rings and cheese slices.
