Cheesy Stuffed Croissants Recipe
Delicious, flaky croissants stuffed with a savoury three cheese mix makes for a special breakfast or brunch.
Recipe Ingredients
- 4 large SPAR Freshline butter croissants
- 4 tablespoons SPAR cheddar cheese, grated
- 2 tablespoons SPAR grated mozzarella cheese
- 2 tablespoon SPAR Marksbury Select Parmigiano Reggiano, grated
- 8 SPAR Freshline Baby tomatoes, quartered
- 1 pack Beechwood Smoked Diced Bacon
- 3 tablespoons cream
- 3 tablespoons SPAR Freshline spring onion (chopped)
Recipe Method
- Preheat oven to 180.
- Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- Cut the top of each croissant with a knife to form a vessel where filling can sit.
- Place the croissants onto the baking tray and set aside.
- In a medium bowl, mix the cheeses, tomatoes, bacon, cream and spring onion.
- Spoon the mixture into the prepared croissant boats.
- Bake in the oven for +- 15 mins or until golden brown.
- Serve immediately.
