Research shows that children living in households that wash their hands with soap and water regularly, had half the rate of diarrhoea compared to children living in control neighbourhoods.

Handwashing can prevent the transmission of a variety of pathogens (disease causing bacteria). If you run your own business and employ staff in your home, teaching them the habit of handwashing (and teaching them to teach their children and communities), could save more lives than any single vaccine or medical intervention
