Forts are simple to make and kids really enjoy building them.
 
The next time you buy a fridge or washing machine, keep the box as these make great structures for kids’ forts. There’s little more satisfying to kids than building a fort using pretty much anything they can find and a lot of imagination. They will spend hours playing in them because they have built them themselves. Supply them with old planks, boxes and other material they can use – then sit back and watch them begin to build.
