Apple Pie Oats Recipe

If you love the idea of a healthy oats breakfast but find porridge a bit uninspiring, try this delicious apple and cinnamon version that tastes just like apple pie.

Recipe Ingredients

  • 1 cup SPAR rolled oats
  • 2 cups water, SPAR milk or a milk alternative (try SPAR Oat Milk for a non dairy option)
  • 1 medium SPAR Freshline apple of your choice, grated
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Generous pinch of salt
  • 2-3 Tbsp sweetener of your choice (try SPAR Honey)
  • ¼ cup SPAR granola (optional)
  • SPAR Freshline apple slices for serving
  • Extra honey for serving

Recipe Method

  1. In a large saucepan, combine the oats, milk, water, apple and spice. Whisk to combine. Bring to a boil and simmer over a low heat for 10-15 minutes.
  2. Add sweetener and season to taste.
  3. Top with a sprinkle of granola, apple slices and honey.
