Make a delicious pie by using this recipe but instead of making dumplings, transfer the stew to a deep pie dish. Top with a roll of SPAR puff pastry. Trim the edges, brush with egg and bake at 200°C for 20 - 25 minutes or until the pastry is puffed and golden.
If you make it yourself you’ll know exactly what you have put into it. It’s surprisingly easy to do and you can flavour it with any of your favourite fresh herbs, pesto or chilli.
